As stated in the recent notice to members, Golf NSW and Golf Australia strongly recommended that all golf courses close immediately.  This followed the issue of a revised public health order and a parallel NSW Office of Sports directive that golf courses close. Those orders were issued on Monday evening.

This morning, we have been advised that those ministerial orders and directives have been amended today and consequently Golf NSW has issued an advisory that allows golf courses to reopen (not the licensed premises/bar/restaurants etc), obviously subject to the playing of golf under the strict guidelines of social distancing.

The decision made yesterday to close the golf course at Castlecove is now reversed.  Today Wednesday 1st April will be conducted as social play only, for members and public players.

Please log on to the timesheets for adjusted tee times.

I take this opportunity to strongly emphasise the importance of strictly adhering to social distancing and hygiene guidelines as outlined in previous notices to members.  The privilege extended to us to be able to use our golf course will rely wholly on us all continuing to do the right thing.

I apologise to members for these on/off notices but as I have said previously, this current situation is extremely fluid, and we can only react to the circumstances presented to us.

I welcome you all back to our wonderful course.  Please keep safe and healthy and feel free to contact me if I can further assist. Email:
