On Thursday 6th July Jill McLean and Mariana Lapargo played in the Pewter Plate held at Wakehurst Golf Club. This event is an 18 hole aggregate Stableford competition for teams of two women handicaps 29.1-45.4. the event held at 1 course, which is determined by the results of the previous years Competition. Guess what….
THEY WON!!!!! In some fine form, Mariana had 37 points and Jill held up her end with 36 points for the ladies to bring the silverware back to The Cove!!! Which also means we will be hosting the event next year!! A truley great effort to both ladies!
